Partnership with Parents

Parent Participation

Parents share in the life of the student by attending parent-teacher conferences, open houses, and program meetings. Classroom observations and discussions with teachers further involve parents in their child’s experience at school.

Country Meadows Montessori has a parent participation program where parents may volunteer or provide financial contribution to the school. Parents volunteer in many ways including parent work days, chaperoning class outings, classroom ambassadors, volunteering at social functions throughout the year, helping with classroom events, and participating in field trips.

During the school year, Country Meadows Montessori families contribute many hours of work to the school and provide thousands of dollars of in-kind service to the school from mechanical maintenance and computer troubleshooting to driving for field trips.
